Registered Veterinary Technician
Hello! My name is Jodi Eyring, and I am a R.V.T. here at Big Creek. I generally work more behind the scenes taking care of our surgical and sick patients, as well as running diagnostics in our lab. I have been working in the veterinary field since 2001, and have been a part of the BCVH family since January of 2009. After graduating from NDCL in 2002, I went on to earn a B.S. from the University of Findlay in Biology with a Life Science Emphasis in 2006. I then earned an Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology from Stautzenberger College, and my license as a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2008.
Many younger years were spent raising assistance dogs and competing in dog obedience shows with my 4-H group. After finishing college, I fulfilled one of my life-long dreams of building my “forever” home in 2010 with my fiancé, Randy, in Montville (Thanks for all of your help, dad!). We share our home with 2 dogs and 5 cats. “Owen” is a Norwegian Elkhound mix we rescued in 2003, and “Violet” is a golden/lab mix I adopted back when she did not make the assistance program (a true blessing!). Our kitties, “Tazzie” and “Tigger”, stole our hearts back in 2004. “Mooch” found us many years later when he was very sick. “Forrest” stumbled into our lives with a great need for belly rubs, and “Goober” was a stray kitten we found all alone hiding under the porch steps. I am honored that you are considering or have chosen us to take care of your little ones! I always pour the same love into taking care of your animals as I do my own! Thanks for stopping by – I hope to see you soon!
