My name is Rob Schwartz, and I have been at Big Creek Veterinary Hospital since June of 2005. I was born and raised in Geauga County and still live there now with my wife Amanda (my high school sweetheart) and our four children. My family is my number one priority – they come first in all that I do and are the support in my life.
I graduated from Notre Dame – Cathedral Latin School in Chardon and went on to attend The College of Wooster, earning a degree in biology. I had a great education and a great time! After Wooster, I entered the Ohio State University of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2005.
I pride myself in patient, client, and staff care, doing my best to keep clients informed and aware of their animal’s health. I am never too busy to answer a question or give my advice or opinion. I most enjoy small animal surgery because it is there I get to work with my heart as well as my hands.
If I had not become a veterinarian, I would have enjoyed being a general contractor and in the construction field. I keep this interest alive by maintaining and improving our century home. Living on a farm, my family and I also get to enjoy the raising and care of a number of animals as well as working in the garden. The farm is a blessing that my entire family enjoys.
Again, my goal as a veterinarian is to practice quality medicine and to maintain a great quality of life for all my patients. So please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns that may help me achieve the goal we both share – your animal’s well-being.
